gallery-uploader software package provides graphical tool to upload pictures and videos to Gallery, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gallery-uploader
gallery-uploader is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gallery-uploader package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gallery-uploader *
You will get with gallery-uploader package name, version, architecture and description in a table
